    [ 388.4 alpha Build(s) ] Testing available build(s)

I can compile on both amcfwm and without. I use Ubuntu 20.04 in a VM environment. Both for amcfwm and without. With automake 1.16.5 and autoconf 2.71. I read somewhere that some compilers need to update both automake and autoconf. Use apt-mark hold to keep apt from downgrading those two...

    [ 388.4 alpha Build(s) ] Testing available build(s)

I did some interesting experimenting with automake and autoconf. Ubuntu 22.04 has automake 1.16.5 and autoconf 2.71 which is what is needed. Every time I updated the system, those two packages keep getting downgraded in Ubuntu 20.04. So I did apt-mark hold on both packages. They are left alone...

Those that want to self-compile, you need automake-1.16.5 . 1.16.1 causes compilation to stop. Ubuntu has development packages and has 1.16.5 available. Just wanted to let you guys know.

Beta Asuswrt-Merlin 388.2 Beta is now available for Wifi 6 models

I've been having trouble trying to compile the latest 388.2b1 firmware when it broke after the 388.1 successful compile. The issue I'm having is this.... calc_nvram.c:4:10: fatal error: defaults_nv.h: No such file or directory 4 | #include "defaults_nv.h" Am I missing some files after a git...

Not unless you can compile it yourself. o_O

Beta Asuswrt-Merlin 388.1 Beta is available for select models

My AiMesh between two RT-AX68Us is working great with ethernet backhaul. WiFi backhaul you need to have the two routers within a few feet to make it work to connect first. Then you can move the AiMesh to where you want it to be. No issues here.

Beta Asuswrt-Merlin 388.1 Beta is available for select models

@RMerlin, thanks for fixing the networkmapping for the RT-AX68U. Clients and Bandwidth Monitor are working correctly. I compiled with RMerlin's recent github updates. The router is working like it should. Yay.

Beta Asuswrt-Merlin 388.1 Beta is available for select models

Besides RT-AX68U, I assume the client list and Bandwidth Monitor work on all other models?

Beta Asuswrt-Merlin 388.1 Beta is available for select models

Upgraded RT-AX68U and there is a visible bug not showing clients. Not sure someone mentioned this bug previously?

    Running Merlin on RT-AX82U

@GNUton has rt-ax82u_beta3 on his github. You have to compile it via docker. I can say it works great. It's getting better and better. Head over to gnuton's github site and check it out. I'm glad that someone like @GNUton can take some pressure off @RMerlin by developing forks of his firmware...

    Running Merlin on RT-AX82U

Yes, you install the firmware like it's done with asuswrt-merlin supported routers. The firmware building is different between gnuton and merlin. Same install route.

    Running Merlin on RT-AX82U

.@Gnuton has a functional forked asuswrt-merlin rt-ax82u firmware that reduced a buggy build to minor buggy now. Check out .@Gnuton's github if you feel like helping him test out this firmware.

    Running Merlin on RT-AX82U

@GNUton has a forked rmerlin's 386.4 alpha for the Rt-AX82U. It works and has a handful of bugs. I'm advertising this alpha link if that's ok with @GNUton . https://github.com/gnuton/asuswrt-merlin.ng/issues/111#issuecomment-960282374 ... This link has the download to the RT-AX82U alpha. Be...
