Plan to extend WiFi 150’ for 1 Ring camera

Something like the link below then. I’ve never heard of the brand, but wiring it up at the house and pointing it at the camera should get the job done? Tenda O1 Outdoor Access Point N300 Mbps, Long Range Smart Manage Outdoor CPE 2.4GHz, Wireless Bridge 8 dBi Transmission 500m, Passive PoE...

Plan to extend WiFi 150’ for 1 Ring camera

Hello - I’ve read several posts on this topic, but wanted to get an opinion on the TP Link EAP225 outdoor AP. With a 150’ distance and clean line of sight from my house to the camera, I’m wondering if this would be a better solution than a pure directional point to point solution. I’m...

    RT-N66U USB Share

If that was the case my network connection to the Internet would also be slow. I've got a 100 mb connection through my Isp and have no issues with using it to download over wifi.

    RT-N66U USB Share

Hi - I'm setting up a WD My Passport USB drive as a network share via the rt-n66u and am having a few problems. (1) How do I maintain permissions to the files? I want to map it as a drive to my personal computer, but I don't want all the files visible or able to be modified by anyone that uses...

    limited connectivity

Hi...I'm having trouble with my devices going into limited connectivity mode with the dark knight router. Anyone else have similar issues or suggestions? The signal strength is fine...and cycling the wireless on the devices resolves the issue...just annoying that it keeps happening.

Best AP to use with RT-N66U

Can the RT-N66U do dual band in AP mode? I saw that Asus also has a dome looking AP that can do 5ghz, but it can't do that and 2.4 ghz at the same time.

Best AP to use with RT-N66U

I'm looking to extend the range of my wireless network while maintaining maximum flexibility/usability of my wireless network. Does anyone here have any recommendations on what access point would be best to use with the RT-N66U...or should i just get another RT-N66U and run it in AP mode?
