    Asuswrt-Merlin 384.8 is now available

    Update from 384.5 to .8 port forwards lost and when trying to set the, again -> no success. I was not able to set port forwards with the latest, Back to the 384.5 and all good.

    wow, just what i just started to looking for, if i´ll just get my 4g working as second WAN. Having RT-AC68u with Merlin. How i could identify those RPDB tables and can i find somewhere full guide for dummies? :)

    Is here anybody who have got Asus router work with Huawei E5375 4g WIFI modem? I do have AC68u and 5375 but im unable to get it connected. Tested with newest Merlin.

    That´s true. Why i did bough this pretty expensive router... My only needs were Dual WAN (fail over) + reliability, but i didnt get any of those with this 68U :) Now it´s blocking internet connections from home at least twice a day, cannot even ping from Router GUI, connections in does work, but...

    Doesnt sound promising... Dual WAN was the only reason to get this router :) Need to test that fork version. I do not ask much, basic features what router basically do and working fail over with Cable + ADSL lines.

    Yes, it was peace of mind :) I can be sure that i can´t blame ISP or Router setup for this. Still going without an issue. Failoever not tested nor failback as main connection do work.

    Now used 374.41 Merlin two days without an issue, hopefully issues wont come back. Used 30+30+30 reset before change to Merlin.

    One more thing, but incoming connections do work, so it has got lease from ISP. Asus wont show it but it´s there :) If i use wifi or wired connection inside my house, cannot reach any service outside, but incoming connection to ssh etc working normal. But, factory reset it is :)

    Thanks. Added Goodle DNS´s to test if it will help, but no. Same thing for Normal mode, it were Aggressive but now Normal. Need to do factory reset and clean install for Merlin. This is hilarious, i do have cable modem + ADSL, but using now 3G connection :D Something to do with the router as...

    This is weird. See picture. Incoming connections does work even if Asus router says 0.0.0.0 for IP.. and outgoing do not work then. Need to go to WAN settings to push Apply to get IP and if i want and start browsing.

    Currently using RT-AC68u with newest (3.0.0.4.374_5517) stock firmware. I do have ADSL and Cablemodem (trying to use dual-WAN failsafe) lines and both lines keeps doing this even removed dual WAN and using ADSL only at the moment. Do i have that bad luck? Both modems broken at the same time...

    Cannot access router - hacked?

    Newest stock firmware + RT-AC68U and when try to setup OpenVPN this will come around. Only way to access router again is reboot of it. Can´t even connect via OpenVPN to it. It´s probably user error, but this connect to router is not. IE & Chrome wont even recognize it, firefox gives "Settings...
