    Changing WAN SSH Port

This looks like it should work, but for whatever reason, this causes me to completely lose ssh access to my 380.68 router. I made changes to your script example and used my router LAN address of course. I had to restore my jffs backup to restore ssh access.

    ssh port forward to router

Ahh, @Lost Dog you're doing it slightly different than I am. This difference is substantial though. What I'd like to accomplish: ssh to non-standard port on WAN side to my router ssh to standard port on LAN side to my router Setting up port forwards to LAN addresses other than my router works...

    ssh port forward to router

Hey @Lost Dog, that's exactly what I did. Can you tell me what values you use for these parameters in the GUI? Advanced Settings -> Administration: SSH Daemon -> Enable SSH: LAN + WAN or LAN only? Allow SSH Port Forwarding: Yes or No? I can't think of anything else that could screw this up on...

    ssh port forward to router

Just came from shibby-tomato, so apologies if this is a dumb question. I did a quick search on port forwarding in this forum, but didn't find anything that specifically addresses my issue. Running the just released 380.69 firmware on my N66U, and I would like to enable ssh on it using...

    [Release 380] Asuswrt-Merlin 380.69 is now available

Thank you @RMerlin! I've been on shibby/tomato for the last 5+ years, and finally made the plunge to this firmware. Waited until this specific release since it addresses KRACK. Primary reason is that I'm switching over my router duties to my Ubiquiti EdgeRouter X soon, so my RT-N66U will be...

    Ubiquiti EdgeRouter Lite Revisited

Would be interested to see how the ER-X performs with its latest 1.9.x firmware too!

Ubiquiti Introduces Mesh-Based Wireless AC Access Points - UniFi Mesh

Darn... I was hoping new firmware would allow mesh-like functionality in current UAP-AC-XXX devices

    Windows 10 dual gigabit?

It's really annoying windows 10 lacks lacp or any form of OS level link aggregation or NIC teaming or bonding (however you'd like to call it). I think, based on my usage, I should see if smb 3.0 multichannel will work. Ive yet to confirm if my asustor nas supports it. I'm surprised no one has...

    Windows 10 dual gigabit?

Hi everyone. I recently purchased an asustor nas for home, which comes with dual gig NICs. This will be plugged into a managed switch, and most likely configured with lacp or whatever better way there is to do link aggregation. It'll have a couple clients using it for dlna and smb, so I'm...

    ASUSTOR AS6104T Price Drop

I've been sitting quietly, waiting for the Asustor AS5104T to drop in price in the past year, thanks to the SmallNetBuilder article about how nice a NAS this device is. http://www.smallnetbuilder.com/nas/nas-reviews/32629-asustor-as510xt-nas-family-reviewed While checking prices recently, I...

RT-N66U QOS on 120Mbit WAN - fast enough?

Hey fellas, I've been using the RT-N66U for a couple years now as a router and wifi AP. Not too long ago, I upgraded my cable connection to 120Mb/12Mb. I use QOS on this router, so I can guarantee a 192Kbit upstream to my shoutcast server, as well as provide rudimentary QOS for browsing...
