    running Minecraft on supermicro mobo

I have a server PC that I want to install Minecraft on and have it mine 24/7, since this PC is running anyway. I installed Minecraft, but I don't think I understand the graphics requirements. I access this PC via remote desktop. If I install a small Nvidia graphics card, will that fix this...

    QoS configuration

Silly question but since I have one PC running through a VPN for torrent use, and all other traffic NOT running through the VPN, would having that VPN active (but no torrents running) negatively impact my speeds? In other words, does a VPN hog bandwidth when active, but not in use? Just...

    QoS configuration

No..only one PC runs through the VPN protocol. All other traffic is ran through the router normally. Do you think the 68U lacking processing power is the problem? Sent from my SM-G965U using Tapatalk

    VPN Kill Switch

Since you have the 86U, I'd use Yorgi's guide: https://www.snbforums.com/threads/how-to-setup-a-vpn-client-including-policy-rules-for-pia-and-other-vpn-providers-384-5-07-10-18.30851/

How to add VPN port forwarding with Merlin?

Wondering if I could just specify a different port on my Transmission GUI? Is there a port that is already open via default within Merlin's VPN settings?

How to add VPN port forwarding with Merlin?

Okay, I'll see what I can do when I get home. I am not an IT dude. It took me a couple weeks to get my setup up and running by simply copying what others have done on this site (Yorgi). Thanks for the reply and help. Very much appreciated.

How to add VPN port forwarding with Merlin?

Okay. Not sure where i would place this script in the 68U settings. Don't want to screw up my PIA VPN<>68U relationship that has worked perfectly for years. :) I just need one port (transmission bit client) opened. Sent from my SM-G965U using Tapatalk

How to add VPN port forwarding with Merlin?

I know that PIA offers port forwarding now with their desktop client, but how would I do that with my Asus 68U running Merlin?

Asus 68-U with Merlin port forwarding not required

I checked my settings and UPnP is off on my router. Not enabled. So, if I am understanding that correctly, that is a good thing that I am able to have everything working without needing UPnP enabled. Isn't having that enabled generally a security risk?

Got it. Thanks for explaining that.....

Asus 68-U with Merlin port forwarding not required

So, UPnP must be disabled by Merlin's default. If I turn it on, I would most likely need to open ports?

Asus 68-U with Merlin port forwarding not required

Just curious why I do not need to open any ports for this router? My other routers/firewalls required me to open ports for many services: xbox live steam minecraft ubisoft etc, etc Just need to make sure I don't have something turned off that should be on. This was a brand new 68-U flashed...
