    No 384.7 alpha 3 for AC87U

If 384.6 is the final version for the 3200 then I guess it's time to start thinking about moving on. Is there an obvious list of which out of all of the Asus products is the most recent (and hence hopefully has the longest life to go)?

    [Release 384/NG] Asuswrt-Merlin 384.3 is now available

Upgraded my rt-ac3200 and all working fine so far. I have to admit that the features I was looking forward to are not there (yet) for the 3200 (IPSec VPN server, Alexa and IFTTT) but here’s hoping that becomes available soon.

    IPv6 on BT with 380.66 Beta 5 on RT-N66U

I just wanted to post for completeness in case anyone else sees something similar. In the last couple of days a mod on the BT community forum responded asking for details from the several of us with the same issue (all in one geographical area) and escalated it somewhere within BT. Everything...

    IPv6 on BT with 380.66 Beta 5 on RT-N66U

Yeah, that's what I was hoping you wouldn't say :) As the issue with being assigned an IP address magically sorted itself maybe this will as well. I will not hold my breath though.

    IPv6 on BT with 380.66 Beta 5 on RT-N66U

Thanks for the suggestion. I tried it, allowing several minutes between steps (and watching for lights to settle etc) but no change.

    IPv6 on BT with 380.66 Beta 5 on RT-N66U

I posted recently that BT wasn't giving me an IPv6 address. That sorted itself in the last couple of weeks and now my router is telling me it's got addresses. The problem is that although the setup is correct nothing is routing. IPv4 works fine. Test-ipv6.com and ipv6-test.com both give me...

    IPv6 on BT with 380.65 on RT-N66U

Well, I found that none of the other routers I have are IPv6 capable, so I've reset and reconfigured my RT-N66U and then gone back to stock firmware, both with no joy. In discussions on the BT forum it looks like even though BT claim to be fully IPv6 enabled, there are areas of the country where...

    IPv6 on BT with 380.65 on RT-N66U

Thanks. I exchanged live chat messages with BT earlier and was told that it should work for me but support wasn't really able to deal with this level of technical question so I should subscribe to the £8 a month tech expert service to get help..... Anyway, I'll go hunting in the loft this...

    IPv6 on BT with 380.65 on RT-N66U

That's what I have but no joy for me. Should the LAN side piece still be populated though? I also the following in the log Feb 23 20:58:52 pppd[493]: IPV6CP: timeout sending Config-Requests

    IPv6 on BT with 380.65 on RT-N66U

I've enabled IPv6 on my router, applied and rebooted but it's not picking up an IPv6 address. As far as I can find on the internet, BT should be fully enabled. Anyone out there using IPv6 successfully with BT?

    Monitoring of Homeplug link

They are devolo dLAN 500 duo units. I tried checking in the 'cockpit' app that's available for devolo and I've disabled the PowerSaving option some time ago when I also upgraded the firmwares to the most recent.

    Monitoring of Homeplug link

Thanks for the replies! I wonder what the ping frequency needs to be. I would rather not have a constant ping at the router going. Thanks for the link though, certainly something to try that a simple batch file can do.

    Monitoring of Homeplug link

Not sure if anyone can help but worth a go... I've installed this great firmware on my RT -N66U in the hope that I can use the increased functionality to help diagnose an issue I have with drop-outs on a homeplug link on my LAN side. Basically, I have a desktop PC and a Synology NAS at the...
