    Actually forgot I had setup asus router app, just turned on QOS from work . I will check later, since I can't see that part in app

    Do you have adaptive QOS enabled? From what I read that needs to be on. Since I have gignet I have it turned off. *EDIT* Pretty sure I saw this in the online manual....I'll test when home from work in a few hours.

    I'm liking it so far. First asus router I've had for length. Signal seems strong, havent noticed any issues with drops ect. So far so good.

    I was able to load the configuration from my rog 2900 to the ax86u and it seems to be working fine. Pretty happy with it so far.

    Gaming accelerator bug?

    I notice when I enable gaming acclerator on my ROG 2900 that my speed tests max at 300mpbs, down from 900 on my gignet connection. I've disabled it but I'm curious if this is normal behavior.

    Saw on pcper that US cost for the 86u should be 249.99. Looks like launch is this month in US.

    Appreciate that. Yeah I've been debating, I just upgraded to giganet and we run around 15 devices. I could see the extra processing power being useful. I got my 2900 for 180, so f I can get the 86u for around 280 I think I will. I have an XR 500nright now but its been temperamental.

    Good to know - I didn't see the 86XU on any websites yet (included Asus) I had just bought the ROG 2900, but since this will probably be somewhat in the ballpark of price and is more modern I'm thinking I'll return it and grab this.

    Any sense of when the AX86 will be in the US? Looking to replace my XR500, was going to get an AC2900 but since this is newer tech might just spend the extra cash for an AX86.
