2. Aaews: [aaews] Do not recieve messges from mastiff about 60s.

What does it mean?

This is the reason to restart transmission services while downloading and not to have good continous speed of downloading.

Thanks in advance..? Please suggest what to do?

Hi,

I suggest to read this thread (same problem, same solution - even if it's on a different router)! :rolleyes:

By the way: searching the forum for 'atomic' would give you the answer instantly... :eek:

With kind regards
Joe :cool:

Thanks Joe, I didn't see this post before but I have this troubles from two weeks and I can say that comes from memory overload. Even swap file can't resolve the problem. Now I will try to enter minimum free memory,but I'm impressed that few guys has that problem. Are they using different client or just didn't use this router to download torrents. Is there any good client for torrent that can works better over the router?

Well, the kernel error says that there is a concurrency issue in memory and/or IO handling. A later version of the kernel has a fix for it, but nobody back-ported it to our older router kernel.

With the memory settings in this posting and by limiting Transmission via in settings.json:
Code:
    "peer-limit-global": 200,
    "peer-limit-per-torrent": 10,
    "alt-speed-down": 1000,
    "alt-speed-enabled": true,
    "alt-speed-time-begin": 420,
    "alt-speed-time-day": 127,
    "alt-speed-time-enabled": true,
    "alt-speed-time-end": 1425,
    "alt-speed-up": 358,
    "speed-limit-down": 1500,
    "speed-limit-down-enabled": true,
    "speed-limit-up": 716,
    "speed-limit-up-enabled": true,
...and the router runs Transmission without problems! :D

The speed-limits are related to the bandwidth of your internet connection and how much you want to spend for Transmission (during day or night), but the max. of 1500/716 kBit is kind of max to avoid memory/IO shortage.

With kind regards
Joe :cool:

Thanks again Joe, I've just set minimum memory 49152 and everything at the moment just go fine. I hope this problem don't show anymore.
