Hi,

I was able to access the DSL modem until today when I upgraded my RT-N66U to 378.53. It worked fine in all older firmware versions.

The DSL modem has an IP address 192.168.5.1

I would just enter the command ip addr add 192.168.5.254/24 brd + dev eth0 and it worked.

After entering this command on 378.53:

addresses:
2: eth0: <BROADCAST,MULTICAST,UP,10000> mtu 1500 qdisc pfifo_fast qlen 1000
link/ether e0:3f:49:00:12:b0 brd ff:ff:ff:ff:ff:ff
inet 192.168.5.254/24 brd 192.168.5.255 scope global eth0

routing:
192.168.5.0/24 dev eth0 proto kernel scope link src 192.168.5.254

I can ping 192.168.5.1 from the router but not anymore from a client.

Thanks for any help.

Got it working by editing iptables.
