AiMesh Node setup

Alright from the looks of it aimesh 2.0 could be very helpful, how would you go about getting it?

It is being beta tested here:

Beta - ASUSWRT 386 RC2 public beta with full functions AiMesh 2.0

Pretty cool developments, can't wait to finally try these long awaited 386 versions once they are finalized as a general release in the form of an @RMerlin firmware (once some more time goes by waiting for the GPL of course).:):cool:

A couple points....

I would work with the equipment you have. Setup a router and evaluate it and its WiFi coverage around the house before adding a node. A WiFi Analyzer app helps to see the WiFi signal levels.

I just learned that AiMesh 2.0 allows selecting a node's uplink, so this could help your situation when you have AiMesh 2.0.

When you setup a router, you should reset it before configuring it.

Go into the the new AiMesh menu, select the applicable node, click on the managment tab:

Look for this selection, then just clcik on the box highlighted in yellow below
