I am seeing this error intermentantly in my System Logs. I'm using PIA as my VPN provider:
Jan 16 12:49:05 openvpn[26427]: Authenticate/Decrypt packet error: bad packet ID (may be a replay): [ #103975 ] -- see the man page entry for --no-replay and --replay-window for more info or silence this warning with --mute-replay-warnings
That error appeared about 100 times in a row.
I'm connecting via UDP on port 1194, default encryption, nothing out of the ordinary. Does anyone know what this might mean? I've read a few reports that it could either be a timing issue somewhere, or possibly a replay attack from someone targeting me (doubtful...). I hope.
