Can u have vpn and bridge mode at same time?

Hi,

I have an Asus Ac88U and Asus Merlin firmware and running it in wireless bridge mode to my main router but a lot of the accessory functions are missing like Vpn client setup. So is it impossible to bridge and vpn at same time time?

Correct. VPN requires a device to be a full router to work (i.e. with both a WAN and a LAN interface).
