I just found out this. Too bad I just bought my third Cisco switch. These switches are going to be faster than what I bought.

It's a switch - one would expect all ports to be non-blocking, so any "speed and memory" is just marketeering...

Being dual-corfe ARM @ 1.4GHz, it's not a lot of value add...

It is if you are doing layer 3 stuff, maybe voice queues in QoS and come into play on larger networks. My guess is they will be snappier in small networks.

Let us know once you get it installed and running - hear that while linux based, pretty much all of the ios commands are implemented...

No, I just bought a Cisco CBS350 POE switch a few months ago so I won't be upgrading any time soon.
