I vote for a complete (in depth) review of custom firmwares. I like the small review you did already on them, but I think there's room to expand (ie:compare performance of all four versions of DD-WRT and Tomato at various configurations, test and highlight features of each firmware that may not directly relate to performance but instead improve functionality, and talk about ease of use of each firmware).

It's not likely that I'll be doing the type of drill-down that you're looking for, willardjuice. But probably some more articles focusing on specific issues.

None that are really current though. I suppose if you just add the new v24 build (and benchmark only the micro and standard versions of the firmware) to your test, it would go a long way and be greatly appreciated.
