Just wanted to share something I figured out in case it helps others. If your AiProtection is no longer sending you emails via your Gmail account you need to take the following high level steps:
Create a Google App Password (you can Google the steps to do this)
Log into your router and go to AiProtect -> Alert Preference and enter this new password
SSH into your router (you can search the steps to enable this) and run:
The reason for having to change the NVRAM value is because the GUI removes the @gmail portion for some reason but without it the Gmail SMTP server will not log you in.
