New Around Here
Hi all,

I am planning a FreeNAS build:

MB/CPU: ASUS C60M1-I AMD Fusion APU C-60 (1.0GHz, dual core) AMD Hudson M1 Mini ITX Motherboard/CPU Combo
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813131843

NIC: Intel EXPI9301CT 10/ 100/ 1000Mbps PCI-Express Desktop Adapter Gigabit CT

PS: Rosewill Green Series RG530-S12 530W

Drives: Hitachi GST Deskstar 7K3000 HDS723020BLA642 (0f12115) 2TB 7200 RPM SATA 6.0Gb/s 3.5" Internal Hard Drive

And I'd put FreeNAS on a USB flash drive. This will be used to store massive amounts of media. What do you think of this setup?

Dude, most excellent.

I like the 6 drive SATA III MB, I don't think there is a intel based mITX MB that supports that yet.

Good call on the NIC.

Did it work?

I setup three nas servers using ASUS C60M1-I AMD Fusion APU boards. I am having issues with the on board nic timeout out. I picked up some Intel EXPI9301CT nics.

It appears the boards do not see them. I installed a copy of windows 8 on one of them and there is nothing in the device manager for it.

Do these two items work together? Did I just happen to get 3 bad nics?
