I have been over to the strongSwan site looking at that as an option for VPN since it support IKEv2. There is a lot of information there but trying to decipher all their examples and configuration elements will take forever. Can anyone point me to information they may have found to help with this IPsec VPN? I have searched but most of the searches go back to the source web site.

I have a spare N66U in access point mode that will be used as a test platform behind my primary router using the Entware package. I first want to keep the configuration basic. Pre-Shared Keys and connecting only to the local network and back out to the internet eventually moving to a certificate mode for authentication.

Thanks.

I am getting close found this tutorial on the OpenWrt site:
