New Around Here
Hey everyone, I'm wondering if anyone has run into this issue (i wasn't able to find anything via search)

I recently added 2x ET12 as aimesh nodes to my network with a GT-AXE16000 as the main router and none of my devices are connecting to the ET12's via the 5Ghz band but 2.4Ghz and 6Ghz work normally.
Everything is connecting fine to the main router.

Both nodes are connected via ethernet backhaul and I've already factory resetting the ET12s and downgrading/upgrading firmware on the nodes and main routers.

Starting to feel like this might be a hardware issue?

Appreciate any input

If you use a "Wi-Fi analyser" app on your phone can you see that the SSID's of the ET12's are broadcasting. They will have different MAC addresses than the GT-AXE16000 SSID.

Thank you for the tip!
Confirmed neither ET12 node was broadcasting a 5Ghz signal, only 2.4 and 6Ghz
Ended up returning them; such a shame :(

And you had selected Ethernet backhaul in AiMesh settings?
