Hi, I am new to these forums.

I have a Synology DS411j which holds my media collection.
I have recently purchased a Netgear ReadyNAS NV+ for the purpose of backing up my media collection.
Can somebody please step me through the process of either backing up or syncing.
Alternatively if there is a software solution that runs in Mac OS X that achieves the same result, I am good with that too.

Thanks in Advance

Just curious... why the Netgear for backup, versus just plugging an eSATA or USB drive into the DS411j to do backups?

My primary storage on the DS411j is quite large and growing, I wanted a backup that had the capacity to continue to grow as well. That and that I got a good deal on the Netgear NAS.

Any ideas guys?

I would really like to have the peace of mind of knowing that I had a Backup of my media collection.
