This was posted in the Netgear forums. I just d/led and installed this firmware and it
works perfectly. Page loads like lightening and file d/l speeds between server to PC
is fastest I have ever seen.

As avtella stated, there's added functionality and specific bug fixes in R7000-V1.0.6.28_1.1.83

New Features:

• Supports Arlo camera. Set up the R7000 as an Arlo base station and connect an Arlo camera to the R7000 without needing an extra base station..

Bug Fixes:

• Fixes the issue in which port 1237 cannot be used in port forwarding.
• Fixes the issue in which the Kwilt binary cannot be downloaded in some cases.
• Fixes the issue in which MTU is not restored when IPv6 is disabled.

And yet again another new firmware and IPv6 is still not configured properly. The router IPv6 firewall is still filtering ICMP/V6 packets this again causes IPv6 to not work as intended. It baffles ones mind why Netgear can not fix this very simple problem.. Kudos to Asus for fixing this years ago...

Presumably this is with both v1.0.5.52 and v1.0.6.28?

Have updated engineering to look into this..
