How do these compare in your eyes?
The QNAP has Atom processor but the Synology has a dual core Marvell ..
I read a media review that put the Synology ahead but often these reviews are biased.
In terms of power and file transfer speed are they in the same league or is the Synology DS414 closer to the QNAP 421?
For a typical home or small office use (5 concurrent users) which one would be better?
