I Am soooo close to what I want to do!
I have a VPN connection, and I want to be able to access a few services externally outside of the VPN. I used
http://forum.hidemyass.com/index.ph...orts-protocols-ipas-websites-and-more-tomato/
Which works beautifully. I had to change the nvram get wan_gateway to nvram get wan0_gateway for the asus router though. While it works for assigning IP addresses to bypass the VPN, when you want for only certain ports to bypass the VPN it gets a little tricky.
If I set:
Restrict Access from VPN Server Site:
No (Site to Site), Using Routing
Instead of No(Sit to Site), Using Nat
I can successfully connect to my FTP server externally as I have the ports set to bypass the VPN. The problem is that only routing I have manually assigned works. When I do this I cant surf the web! I am thinking I just need to make a couple of routing additions but I am unsure of where to start! Any suggestions?
