I haven't messed with my router for ages, having been working on other stuff. I note I am still on 3.0.0.3.108 - which I guess is like ancient these days.

That said, looking at the stats, it's been up for 173 days and counting, so it's EXTREMELY stable. (The last downtime was probably a power cut.)

Should I update to latest firmware, or does the "if it aint broke, don't fix it" rule apply? Am I missing out on anything that I really ought to have - like security fixes or killer features?

I'd appreciate any thoughts.

Cheers

It is like yourself wrote : if you have no problems / issues with your old f/w
do not upgrade BUT if you want new functions it's time to upgrade.

Hi,

Beside the additional features, maybe some bugfixing plus by sure some security fixes, are worth upgrading.

Coming form that old version it would be highly recommened to do a factory rest (clear NVRAM) after upgrading to get all default values - especially the hidden ones - from the new firmware.

This demands then a re-entering of all settings to bring things back to work.

With kind regards
Joe

PS.: As you can see from my footer, I am the oppostite of you: Always looking for the latest and greatest updates... ;)
