hi everyone, i have been having recent wifi woes and wanted to try out Advanced Tomato before buying new equipment.
I was ablr to hold in the reset button snd power up the router. When the led power light started blinking slowly, the router is supposed to be in rescue mode.
The router admin ip is 10.10.10.1 so i set my laptop to 10.10.10.2/24 and connected the ethernet cable to lan port 1 on the router.
The ethernet connnection on the laptop is labeled correctly with the SSID that was set on the router previously. ipconfig shows the correct 10.10.10.2 ip and i can ping 10.10.10.1 fine butnwhen trying to open a web browser to use the utility to upload the Tomato fiemware, it never connects. Most of the times it fails saying “took too long to respond”.
Any ideas what i might be doing wrong?
