New to the forum so please be gentle with me lol. Purchased my asus rt n66u end of November 2012 and noticed when I was setting it up that there was an update firmware button. I clicked on it and it advised me there was a new firmware available so I clicked on the update button and it merrily downloaded it and installed it.
However on reading this forum there seems to be suggestions that you should reset your router to factory defaults. Unfortunately I can't remember what the firmware version was that came with the n66u but I am on the latest stock firmware ending in 260. Should I reset the router to avoid possible problems?
