is dnsmasq enabled by default?
i set up a openvpn client on 384.19 firmware. i setup policy rules strict with accept dns to exclusive. it was my understanding that dnsmasq did not work when the vpn is set this way and only worked for non tunneled devices. and i did not see many entries in syslog for them. I didn't notice them but now since i have set up alot of devices on the guest network i see tons of dnsmasq entries all over my log for devices on the guest network. for example;
Oct 25 11:46:28 dnsmasq-dhcp[1264]: DHCPDISCOVER(br0) f8:ad:cb:22:f2:b7
Oct 25 11:46:28 dnsmasq-dhcp[1264]: DHCPOFFER(br0) 192.168.50.149 f8:ad:cb:22:f2:b7
Oct 25 11:46:28 dnsmasq-dhcp[1264]: DHCPREQUEST(br0) 192.168.50.149 f8:ad:cb:22:f2:b7
Oct 25 11:46:28 dnsmasq-dhcp[1264]: DHCPACK(br0) 192.168.50.149 f8:ad:cb:22:f2:b7
does this mean the guest network is not working properly with vpn? or is this nothing to worry about. do i have to do any other settings for guest network to use vpn?
thanks in advance for any advice.
