Tried to install 'iputils-tracepath6' which was in the opkg list but my repo list was out of date.

Ran opkg update and it updated but with 98% of the list removed now only about 10 packages total. :(

Old version of packages here.

new here - notice how empty it is

This fix is to edit opkg.conf

this line
src/gz openwrt http://wl500g-repo.googlecode.com/svn/ipkg/openwrt
to
src/gz openwrt http://entware.wl500g.info/binaries/entware

then run opkg update

seems that repo moved hosts

After opkg update && opkg upgrade you will be redirected to new hosting automagically.

If you don't want to run opkg upgrade for some reasons, please edit /opt/etc/opkg.conf.

Worked for me. I had to do it a few times:

opkg update
opkg upgrade (I guess this is where the redirect is done)
opkg update (So this fetches the new packet list)
opkg upgrade

The I did it once more to make sure all updates were installed, but that time it didn't do anything.

I noticed when running the opkg it tells me that this feed for entware is no longer supported effective October 2015. It wants me to update to entware-ng with a URL it lists upon completion. Is this something we/I need to do with my AC-66U router as I run transmission and other basic scripts with no issues right now. Can we run this upgrade to entware-ng on our devices or should we stay put for now? Thanks for any info. Cheers
