Hi,

I now running dd-wrt also have Merlin used.
Melin looks like the original but with more options.
dd-wrt i already knew with nu linksys 54g(v1).
It is still not final but runs smooth.
Witch firmware is better?

Also used at a alix board pfsense (fortunaly not for the Asus available).

Have not used dd-wrt (successfully) but if by better you mean bugs fixed, features implemented logically (eventually by Asus themselves...) and stability and performance being the top two criteria in the list, then RMerlin's firmware releases are the best. :)

Tnx,

but support Merlin also specified adresses for access ports?
And remote control the router with the webinterface from specified adresses?

Nobody testet both?

"Better" is always highly subjective. My firmware will give you more speed. DD-WRT will give you more features. Therefore it will depend on your specific needs - neither are probably really better, they are aiming at totally different userbases.

Tnx rmerlin.
Runs now dd-wrt but want tot try tours to.
I think in about 2 weeks (need now still the dd-wrt)

Wat i need is port forwarding from specified ip's.
And control of the router from specified UP's.
That is also possible with yours.
Regards

You will have to manually create the rules using iptables and a nat-start user script.
