    Is this a router-side problem or a NAS-side problem?

Update: No change with the new modem. I made sure to turn off all firewalls before turning off the modem's wifi functionality (since, for whatever reason, I can't change any modem settings once the wifi has been disabled.) Plugging the NAS directly into the modem didn't help either.

    Is this a router-side problem or a NAS-side problem?

Yeah, it's a manual, static IP.

    Is this a router-side problem or a NAS-side problem?

It was working previously, until maybe November. I've been trying to figure it out myself (and with Asustor support, though they've been unhelpful so far). I can access my router using its DDNS on port 8443. On CanYouSeeMe.org, 8443 is open, but none of the NAS ports are. Changing the port on...

    Is this a router-side problem or a NAS-side problem?

Doesn't work over external IP. I can, however, access my router via the WAN IP.

    Is this a router-side problem or a NAS-side problem?

@jeff3820 and @mikelees2, I have the ports I need manually forwarded, but it's still an issue:

    Is this a router-side problem or a NAS-side problem?

Hi all, I'm having an issue, and I'm not sure if it's router-side or NAS-side. Let me know if I'm in the wrong forum and I will relocate this post. I can't connect to my NAS over DDNS with Asustor's EZConnect. The reason I'm inclined to believe it's router-side is as follows: Everything goes...

    Archer C3150 vs RT-AC3100

Newegg.ca now has $15 off the RT-AC3100 refurb, now $225 (reg $240). Is it worth saving $45 to go refurbished? EDIT: New plan. I just remembered I have $10 best buy credit. I'll get them to match the NewEgg price on the new 3100, and then use my credit. Thanks for the help everyone.

    Archer C3150 vs RT-AC3100

Is the RT-AC3100 really that much more stable? The Archer C3150 is rated higher on the Router Ranker overall, and seems to perform a bit better (especially at 5GHz).

    Archer C3150 vs RT-AC3100

I've been having some issues with my current Archer C7 - DHCP problems (which seem to have been resolved by switching to OpenWRT), dropped VoIP calls, and signal strength issues (I live in an older building with concrete walls). I'm thinking a 4x4 router with a bit more processing power and...

    Archer C3150 vs RT-AC3100

Hi Guys, Newegg Canada is having a sale on both of these routers, until Friday. C3150 is $200 CAD, RT-AC3100 is $270 CAD. Any reason I should buy the RT-AC3100? I have 3 laptops, a smart TV, a ChromeCast, a Roku Stick on WiFi, and a NAS, an Ooma VoIP box, and another computer wired in. Light...

    AC Routers (Canada)

I like the idea of the extra ethernet ports on the AC88u, but it doesn't look like it's available in Canada yet. Other than the extra ethernet, it looks like the specs are identical to the AC3100. Is it really worth $125 over the AC68U for my usage?

    AC Routers (Canada)

Hi All, I've been using a TP Link Archer C7 (V2) for about 2.5 years, and I've started experiencing some issues (wireless strength/range, DHCP problems, speed issues). Running stock firmware. I'm thinking it might be time for an upgrade, and I've narrowed it down to the Netgear R7000 or the...
