[SOLVED] Turned off outbound filtering and qos for upload still incredibly slow upload speeds?

As per the skynet readme; I think your issue lies elsewhere. I can't confirm any case of reports that Skynet slows down a user's connection noticeably after 10 years of being available.

uKasa uKasa - A utility script that manages Kasa smart outlets and switches with Asuswrt-Merlin routers

If someone has the ability to execute malicious code on your router I think they have a lot bigger ideas and capability then using a niche script that’s preinstalled to communicate with some power strips.

    Crontab jobs disappeared.

That was a fun surprise to wake up to, very not cool to think of how many Skynet installs will have been wiped because of it  I personally wasn't affected on my two networks but there must have been some sort of trigger. On the bright side, Skynet protected users for 949 days before...

Low-Power SSD for amtm, Diversion, Entware and Tailscale on the USB 2.0 Port (USB 3.0 configured as USB 2.0)

Back in the AC68U days, having less then 2gb swap and custom scripts lead to “cannot fork()” errors that crashed dnsmasq and other processes. At the time it was found by having a 2GB swap file alleviated this issue so it was made a requirement to prevent issues.

    Skynet New Skynet 7.5.9 Release

I never left per se, I just disagree’d with decisions that were made that affected how I post about Skynet and supported users accordingly… My stance on the matter hasn’t changed but as long as Asus continue to internally support the project, Skynet will continue to work on current and future...

    Skynet New Skynet 7.5.9 Release

No outbound blocks is good, it means none of your devices are trying to call home to a malicious server. The *— is simply the spinner feature for an “animated” interactive menu

Skynet Skynet Not Starting with IPTables Rules Failed

Swap files were required due to a bug/hardware limitation years ago where if you backgrounded too many tasks you would get cannot fork() errors that would essentially take out dnsmasq until you rebooted. Probably not necessary anymore but at the time a 2GB swap file would eliminate these errors...

Skynet Skynet logs of VPN(wireguard) clients

The work is already done, just didn’t want to release before the weekend as I’m in another city and if things go sideways I have limited access to push any fixes. Monday is a different story
