    Voxel Custom firmware build for Orbi RBK50/RBK53 (RBR50, RBS50) v. 9.2.5.2.12SF-HW

I have checked and can confirm that the USB drive is ext4 formatted. I have 1.1.1.1 set as WAN DNS, and DHCP disabled, yet it seems the router is making queries to my DHCP server's DNS and any query redirected at the router (10.0.0.1) ends up with DHCP server's DNS as well. Also, is there a...

    Voxel Custom firmware build for Orbi RBK50/RBK53 (RBR50, RBS50) v. 9.2.5.2.12SF-HW

It appears that the instructions for loading ash .profile in the zip file is not correct. This is what I did and it worked: Creating the file in /overlay/root did not work.

    Voxel Custom firmware build for Orbi RBK50/RBK53 (RBR50, RBS50) v. 9.2.5.2.12SF-HW

I'm on 11SF. Do I need to downgrade and flash (from scratch) or just flash normally?

    Voxel Custom firmware build for Orbi RBK50/RBK53 (RBR50, RBS50) v. 9.2.5.2.11SF-HW

These say: (I guess it no longer shows port 22 because I forwarded it. Also I seem to be running an open DNS resolver??) Also, I cannot seem to get entware working. I followed the instructions... formatted a connected pen drive into ext4 using mkfs (w/ metadata_csum), downloaded and extracted...

    Voxel Custom firmware build for Orbi RBK50/RBK53 (RBR50, RBS50) v. 9.2.5.2.11SF-HW

No, I just checked; its disabled. I don't remember turning on anything explicitly, so probably no. I have scripts that retrieve data via SSH every 5 secs or so, so I need to keep it on all the time. I set up a port forwarding rule from port 22 to some obscure port on an unutilized IP address...

    Voxel Custom firmware build for Orbi RBK50/RBK53 (RBR50, RBS50) v. 9.2.5.2.11SF-HW

I just realized that the Orbi is listening on port 22 on WAN. How can I disable this without disrupting SSH access in the LAN?

    Voxel Custom firmware build for Orbi RBK50/RBK53 (RBR50, RBS50) v. 9.2.5.2.11SF-HW

I'm wondering the kind of data I can extract from the router through SSH. Can real-time WAN IN/OUT be retrieved?

    Voxel Custom firmware build for Orbi RBK50/RBK53 (RBR50, RBS50) v. 9.2.5.2.11SF-HW

Thanks for that. The instructions were very helpful, even more so than the NG article. I downgraded both router and satellite to v2.5.2.4, backed up CFG, reset to factory, flashed Voxel FW, reset to factory again, then restored from backed up CFG. However, I seem to be able to log in with...

    Voxel Custom firmware build for Orbi RBK50/RBK53 (RBR50, RBS50) v. 9.2.5.2.11SF-HW

I'm in the same boat. I was on v2.7.2.104 and read the instructions and flashed the satellite with v9.2.5.2.11SF-HW. Satellite did not come back online and is pulsing white. Can I use these instructions for the satellite as I have not bricked the router?
