Release Asuswrt-Merlin 386.3 is now available

I have some similar issues from time to time where the WiFi drops and restarting the radio for either 2.4GHz or 5GHz restores the connection for all bands. I am running FW386.2_6 on AI mesh with AX11000 main and an AC5300 client.

Internet disconnects and strange log entries

I have a Technicolor TC4400. The largest manual I could find for it has only 3 pages and is mainly tech specs. I am in Markham, ON, CA; my ISP is Teksavvy (cable 500/20 through Rogers's cable network). I have browsed the modem interface a while ago, but do not remember seeing any logs. I will...

Internet disconnects and strange log entries

Thank you for your answer Colin. I should have also mentioned I am new to this but I am trying to learn. I have the Scribe script installed and the logs are split. Is the attached the one you were mentioning? How do I access the modem logs? Do modem logs get reset on reboots?

Internet disconnects and strange log entries

Not sure if related but all this started after the DST time change. My internet started to lock up every other day, and every time is only the modem reboot that restores the connection. I spoke with e ISP and they say it is the router. Can someone that understands the logs, have a look at the...

    GT-AC2900 running at 82°C on Asuswrt-Merlin 386.1 - too hot?

BTW; I am using a USB powered Thermaltake laptop cooling pad for my RT-AC5300. Has speed control and you can tune it, for noise level/efficient cooling. I bought it about 6 years ago when I got the router and the dust is not an issue, although if you are concerned you can also use a thin filter...

    GT-AC2900 running at 82°C on Asuswrt-Merlin 386.1 - too hot?

You could but the it will all depends how big the tank is. If you want you can use a USB water pump to create some liquid movement (powered from the router USB). https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B008OCZUK6/?tag=smallncom-20

    GT-AC2900 running at 82°C on Asuswrt-Merlin 386.1 - too hot?

One other option is to dunk it in some dielectric liquid and only have the antennae sticking out. Win / win good cooling and no dust. https://www.3m.com/3M/en_US/data-center-us/applications/immersion-cooling/

    Ookla's resident Speedtest

In my case the router can only do 250Mbps and the clients will reach the full 500Mbps (500/20 connection). Really strange mine can't reach the 500 and yours can do 600... almost seems like a bug ~1/2 of the max.

    Ookla's resident Speedtest

In my case the Ookla speedtest from the router shows half of the download speed i get when going to the website. Not sure if is the router or the ISP. Anyone experiencing something like this? I am using a RT-AC5300 and someone said the route cheapset is not powerful enough. Anyone?

Not sure this is the right forum to post but I will give it a shot. Anyone has an idea why the I would get different Internet Speeds when testing from the router compared to what I get on www.speedtest.net website? Is the ISP provider plying tricks? Router: up - 112Mbps / down - 18.28 Mbps...
