Hello!
Do you guys know a tool I can use to test my computers maximum throughput thru my router?
Websites like speedtest.net is just for one way tests, up or down, not both at the same time :(
Thank you for easy recommendations.
Hello!
I have made a small research where I checked all the default settings one by one in wifi 2.4 ghz and 5 ghz on ASUS newer routers.
Here is the link to check the document, or please see the screenshot in the end of this message.
Link: research document
Link: screenshot
And I have found...
And btw, after my research I have understand that this ugly TP-link is a big scam company. If you look at there models they have models with similar name with big difference in cpu/ram specs.
For example:
AX1800 AX20 v1 1.5 ghz quad core 256 mb ram.
AX1800 AX20 v3 880 mhz dual core 128mb ram...
That is my computer, It seems like it is my computer that disconnects. I disconnected after about 1-2 hours on a Linksys also. Lol, this didnt happen before, must be something I have done on the computer.
Anyways, that means I maybe can keep the Asus. Hmmm..
Dont need to have VLAN support, my OpenWRT has some type of port vlan so it will work anyways. I am not the admin that setup the device btw lol ;D
And this one has AX support. TP-Link AX1800 AX23
Still searching, maybe could go to 70 euro/pcs.
To be continue. :D
Hello!
I bought 2x ASUS RT-AX52 but sadly the wifi connection drops all the time. Seem to be a well known issue. Will send them back.
What other routers do you guys recommend?
Requirments:
-3 lan ports
-Stable and fastest 802.11ax on 2.4 Ghz speed. + 5 Ghz.
-Dont need to have so long...
I need to have 3-port switch on the Access points :/ But thank you for your recommendation.
Lets see what I can find. TP-link is ok but very difficult to understand what cpu/ram is in the box.
