    I have a feeling it has got to do with not being able to handle the power profiles when the USB disks are attached, be it powered or portable. May I ask what firmware were you using before you gave up? Did you replace the router? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    I have tried setting up the 68u as a router, AP and a Media bridge. The only successful setup was the media bridge config.     I am having the exactly same problem, but the device i disconnected are both my MBP 13 on LAN and a Belkin 8 port powered LAN Switch. It seems after unplugging the switch the problem seems to have temporarily vanished, however, i hope i haven't spoken too soon!!
