I've tried to get this new firmware via the "Firmware version check" but it keeps saying that I have the most current version - even though I'm still on 374_205.
Any other way to update the firmware?

I was able to get the media server running without changing the RT-AC68U from an AP to a router.
I set up several user accts w/IE (thanks RMerlin & CaptainSTX for the Chrome incompatibility info!) and used ES File Explorer to find/play the stored media on the Android tablets in our...

I suspected that might be the case. Unfortunately for me it looks like a real PITA to get my Comcast modem/router combo to operate in bridge mode so I can use the RT-AC68U as my router. :mad:
