I'm looking for a good pair of powerlines with a filtered pass-through outlet

Update: I ended up buying a pair of Devolo Magic Lan 2. I wanted to see how G.hn compared to AV2, I used to get 220-260 mbps on the TP-Link TL-PA8010 AV2 kit that I sold because of the Qualcomm QCA7500 disconnecting issue (reported by many users). I'm getting 330 - 462 mbps (avg 350), ping...

    Quick Question re: Powerline

Right now I'm leaning towards the PLP1200 kit, unfortunately it doesn't look like it has a software like TPPlc (from tp-link) that let you disable power saving features/makes you choose preset, but it still looks like a solid choice (even with zero firmware upgrade releases since launch) I can...

I'm looking for a good pair of powerlines with a filtered pass-through outlet

I found a post from 2015(https://www.smallnetbuilder.com/tools/rankers/powerline/view) ranking the best powerlines as of 2015. I tried a pair of TP Link TL-PA8010P AV1300 which caused occasional disconnecting issues (Apparently caused by firmware issue), I recently switched to an RT-AX56U with...

    Quick Question re: Powerline

I know that I'm digging on a very old post, but I was wondering what is the best powerline as of 2020, the list is from 2015.

My AX56U automatically disable Runner with Qos Enabled. -QOS Enabled Runner: Disabled (QoS) - Flow Cache: Enabled -QOS Disabled Runner: Enabled - Flow Cache: Enabled Edit: I just tried Traditional QoS which appears to be able to limit download efficiently (2-8ms download...

[Release] Asuswrt-Merlin 384.16 (and 384.13_6) are now available

I called my ISP, basically all I can do is enable DMZ. I enabled it on my Modem and I used the AX56U's WAN IP. I tried portchecker to check if there was any port issue, apparently every single port appears to be closed but everything is working the same as with DMZ disabled, I honestly didn't...

[Release] Asuswrt-Merlin 384.16 (and 384.13_6) are now available

It's a modem with proprietary hardware and software, I don't have a bridge mode feature, I just have DMZ. What kind of problems does double NAT create?

[Release] Asuswrt-Merlin 384.16 (and 384.13_6) are now available

Should I enable DMZ if I can't set the modem to bridge mode? What's the downside to having a double NAT?

[Release] Asuswrt-Merlin 384.16 (and 384.13_6) are now available

I was told by an Asus rep that a firmware for the RT-AX56U was work in progress like 2 months ago, the human malware must have messed with the release schedule. It seems like Asus is prioritizing the RT-AX58U right now

[Release] Asuswrt-Merlin 384.16 (and 384.13_6) are now available

I tried L&LD's firmware flashing method and his Nuclear Reset but I still can't manage to make the QoS work, stock firmware doesn't limit the bandwith either on my RT-AX56U. Everything else is working properly, it's just the QoS that is giving me some headaches.

[Release] Asuswrt-Merlin 384.16 (and 384.13_6) are now available

I just experienced a very weird behaviour on my AX56U. Basically 5ghz became unusable in time sensitive applications, pinging the router would result in transmit fail + high ping, the signal quality suddendly became much worse. So I had to switch to 2.4ghz which appeared to be more reliable, no...
