    FS: Asus Routers -RT-AX86U, RT-AC68u, and 3x TM-AC1900 (converted to AC68u)

Yep, I couldn't believe when I went back to look at prices. Was actually tempted to hold onto them just in case I have trouble with the AT&T setup given how expensive these things are now, but I need to fight my instinct to hoard items and make some room around here. :) Just looking to recoup...

    FS: Asus Routers -RT-AX86U, RT-AC68u, and 3x TM-AC1900 (converted to AC68u)

As stated above, I have the following: 1x RT-AX86u - MINT condition in original box, used for only a month before AT&T Fiber became available in my area and swapped to using their router & extenders. - $210 shipped (one sold) (1x AC68u sold) 3x TM-AC1900 - the famous T-Mobile OEM version of...

    The rmerlin donation thread.

Just donated here and am sorry I haven't before now! I've been using for years, first on my N66u, then multiple AC68Us, now AX86Us. Thanks for all you do!

    Log errors wont stop

@dave1024 , quick question on yours... Have you traced down the MACs shown, and if so, are they by chance Google home/chromecast devices? I just watched the logs on mine and traced every MAC I could find on the failed errors, and there are 2 Google Homes (original), a Google Home Mini, a...

    Log errors wont stop

I'm seeing the same thing. Brand New AX86U out of the box, flashed latest Merlin, minimally configured away from the defaults (e.g.- changed DNS to use opendns, changed wireless bands to use set control channel values, set 3 static DHCP assignments, and turned on AiProtection) & added 2nd new...

    How To Fix Wi-Fi Roaming

So, to your point about not having too many nodes to close together... Is there an easy way to determine how close is too close? I have a 100-year old, three level house (2 above ground & finished basement) with plaster/wire-mesh lathe walls (cinder block in the finished basement) and am...

I can't connect to my ISP with firmware 3.0.0.4_376.48_1

did you ever figure out what this might be? I have the same issue going beyond .47. My ISP (Charter) is just a straight DHCP connection. If I downgrade to .47, I pull an IP fine. If I upgrade to any .48x version, it won't pull an IP from my cable modem no matter what. I reset to defaults...
