    Hi, thanks for your reply. ive no problems accessing the qnap internally on my lan via the web portal or qnap apps but the 86u will not allow me to access the qnap externally of my home network. i'm using it for storage and also as a webserver.

    Hi i have tried both the newest official and and merlin 384.8.2. its very strange and i'm at a complete loss as to why its behaving in this way. Regardless of what you try ports remain closed, even putting the qnap in the dmz or turning the firewall off completely still blocks the ports

    Ive had a check under switch control but there is only jumbo frames and spanning tree. It could possibly be but i have checked several diffrent guides to make sure and fall all intents its should be working. Also the same config works without issue on the draytek 2860 so i doubt its an isp issue
