That's just not right. A regular member here graciously fixing routes on his spare time while the big company hasn't released an update yet. The affected routes keep increasing and who knows how many are out there with no clue what's going on. I doubt many people who own this router know this...

even the ax86u last firmware was on May 2024. I'm sure we'll at least get the security update that was released to many Asus routers recently.

I hope its not the case, and I really don't want to be the bearer of bad news, but wifi lights turning off are a sign of this router dying. The ac86u is well known for it's high failure rates, and it usually starts with the wifi lights.

don't want to jynx it but 160mhz is holding up better than ever on this firmware. didn't change anything and a dirty update.

Installing using the phone app or the gui directly was giving me "couldn't connect to Asus servers" all day. Manually downloading the firmware and updating worked.

nothing showing on my AX58U gui or the website. usually the update is for it is available at the same time. edit: nevermind, it just showed up. Same firmware version.
