    Folks I am just getting around to doing this. In my RT-AC66U I see no option for an OpenVPN server - I am running firmware 3.0.0.4.374_130 -do I need newer firmware?

    Ok thanks... reports seem to say that there have been a few issues with openVPN and the IOS 10 beta, and sometimes the app needs to be reinstalled after the upgrade, but it should work. So will give that a shot as soon as I can reconfigure my router.

    Swetoast thanks - I am not able to access my RTAS66u at this moment; does it support OpenVPN as a server or just as a client?

Had been using an Asus RTAC66u router set up as a VPN server to share the internet connection from the US (I have no need really to access the internal network...
