    Got router. Filter seems to work. Hmm. In my note 10 plus when I connected to the ASUS I said use phone Mac not random.

    Ok sheesh. Thanks. I tried something about private dns but I messed up my connection and had to reset network settings as I couldn’t find the private dns setting again to disable. Lol. Update. I should be getting the Asus GT-AC5300 tomorrow from Amazon.

    I have the Comcast gateway. The x1 I think it is. It won’t let you change dns. It forces you to use theirs.

    It’s ok. It don’t matter. I am getting no help to get a router from any of my friends or family. I’m disabled and can’t afford anything. So I’m done stressing over this. I just won’t have a good router then.

    Well I had the Asus ax11000 and used opendns and I think android was still able to access porn. Not using cell. I have to put opendns on my note 10 plus and see what happens. it really bites Comcast forces you to use their own dns in the x1 gateway. That gateway sucks in my opinion.

    So what if a router uses opendns family and android or anything can still access porn? Does that mean something the router is doing is interfering? Why did the TP-Link ax6000 filtering work when not one other of 12 devices I tried did?

    Thanks but I still need a router. But I guess if open dns or whatever can work in a router if the routers own filter don’t then I can try. But I am not going to install any software.

    Well ya. I read the wiki for DoH and it said it’s an issue for parental controls. But Untangle has block dns over https in their web filter. Doesn’t do anything. Still don’t block adult. And the TP LINK Archer AX6000 does block stuff correctly. Then the Asus AX11000 doesn’t block. Confusing.
