Have an interesting issue. I have an AX3000 and had been using the 58U FWs without issue until Alpha 3. I was unable to get Alpha 3 to A4 using the web interface, the router would just reboot without being updated. I had to use the FW Restore Utility to get it to upgrade. Once again, it’s doing...
I was curious other than the interface skin and cosmetics, are there any differences between the normal AX58U and the TUF edition. And can the TUF Firmware be installed on the normal AX58U/AX3000?
I haven't tested on a stable build to see if this issue exists there as well, however when the AX-3000/58U is set to WPA2/WPA3 mode, newly connecting an Xbox One to that network results in an error that the Xbox only supports WPA/WPA2 encryption. However dropping the router to WPA2, connecting...
The AX-58U/AX-3000 are also 2x2 it's the AX88u that's 3x3.
A majority of mobile devices will be 2x2 however, so look into what you'll actually have that would need 3x3.
To my knowledge the AX3000 and AX58U are exactly the same, just different per retail outlet, they use the same Merlin...
thanks for the link, so it appears to be poor reporting. And from the different media agencies that picked it up it appears to have been a vulnerability on the Asus side, from the way I’ve been reading it, it looks like certain routers were passing information to Asus Servers and that’s where...
I didn’t find a post on this already and if there is, please forgive me and I’ll delete this.

We’re devices with Merlins build installed also compromised?
Good afternoon,
Is this configuration possible within ASUSWRT/MERLIN?
I Apologize if this has been asked before.

Thank you!
I was lucky and able to get a TM-AC1900 on launch, I was able to load Merlin's FW from the GUI. I'm glad about all the development so far from the community in order to make this an AC68U through the CFE. However, I'm curious, I would like to have the T-Mobile QOS customization as I'm sure...
I currently have an AC66U which has been rock solid! I a was curious if anyone knows the pros and cons of each of these new routers? I understand the 87U is a Wave 2 chip while the Broadcom XStream is a Wave 1 chipset. Should I wait on the 3200, or go for the 87U? Thank you so much everyone.
Thanks for the reply, looks like it was removed unfortunately.
Is it possible to put in the latest driver available for AC66U users to see if anything has changed in that regard? I appreciate the time, thank you!
Hey Merlin! Thanks for the awesome work as always, I'm curious if Beam-forming was removed from the AC-66U with this build as I don't see it listed anymore? Thank you so much!
