DNS Director - not working for me?

I use the test in http://testfiltering.com/ from the client. All good now, thank you.

DNS Director - not working for me?

I had tried this combination, it was not working... now it is! Thank for making me try it again! The only thing I can think of is that I rebooted the router between posting the issue and now.

DNS Director - not working for me?

Hi I am seeking to have general DNS as something fast & open (e.g. OpenDNS 208.67.222.222, 208.67.220.220) but my child's clients running something safe (e.g. Cleanbrowsing Family 185.228.168.168, 185.228.169.168). If I assign either of these DNSs in WAN/WAN DNS Setting/DNS Server they work...

    Guest network 3 unstable

I don't have an answer for you, but may I ask, are you on stock or Merlin firmware? I ask as I'm considering rolling back from Merlin to stock, but only if it helps.

    Guest network 3 unstable

Thanks, I'll give it a go, but not hopeful as, when it's down, even phone won't connect until I reboot the router.

    Guest network 3 unstable

I have a GT-AC2900 as main router with one AiMesh node, an RT-AC86U. Both are on Merlin 386.3_2. These are my guest networks: I am finding that "IoT - No intranet" (do we call this guest network 3?) goes down every few days. SSID is still visible but clients cannot connect. Rebooting the...

    GT-AC2900 running at 82°C on Asuswrt-Merlin 386.1 - too hot?

Should I contrive some sort of mechanical swooshing device to make sure the fluid circulates adequately?

    GT-AC2900 running at 82°C on Asuswrt-Merlin 386.1 - too hot?

Thanks. Good to know about routers being designed to run warm.

    GT-AC2900 running at 82°C on Asuswrt-Merlin 386.1 - too hot?

Would that allow me to overclock and get faster download speeds?

    GT-AC2900 running at 82°C on Asuswrt-Merlin 386.1 - too hot?

Thanks. I'll keep an eye on it. Might get those fans anyway - would be useful in the summer! Are the one that you linked two fans on one controller, or is it a two pack?

    GT-AC2900 running at 82°C on Asuswrt-Merlin 386.1 - too hot?

Thanks for the suggestion. Is there a consensus then that increased temps on our kit won't be fixed by a future release? If a fix is not on the cards then I will proably do the fan thing - are the ones you have audible?

    GT-AC2900 running at 82°C on Asuswrt-Merlin 386.1 - too hot?

Thanks for that, interesting. It inspired me to switch on SSH and look see if CPU Wait was switched on (it was). Do you think 386 is simply more demanding on CPU than 384, or does the new code have issues with something specific in the RT-AC86U & GT-AC2900 hardware (which are apparently very...

    GT-AC2900 running at 82°C on Asuswrt-Merlin 386.1 - too hot?

Firstly to say, I was delighted yesterday to discover the Asuswrt-Merlin 386.1 release for my newish GT-AC2900. I installed like a shot, it's great to be back after months in the stock wildeness. No more ROG theme, what a delightful bonus! Anyway... after the flash I was having issues with...
