Is UPnP disabled/blocked on Mesh partners?

Home Assistamt with UPnP enabled allows it to automatically pull a load of data in, throughput uptime etc. I can this via SNMP and the link I found to set it up. More secure etc :)

Is UPnP disabled/blocked on Mesh partners?

Whilst poking around trying to find a fix I found a better more secure way via SNMP to monitor the router here Advanced SNMP monitoring, part one: Asuswrt routers (Merlin build) - Share your Projects! - Home Assistant Community (home-assistant.io) I'll disable UPnP with the idea of moving to SNMP :)

Is UPnP disabled/blocked on Mesh partners?

As the subject says really, Is UPnP disabled/blocked on Mesh partners? I use Home Assistant it picks up both my RT-AC86U and RT-AC68U. The stats from the 86U work fine as the primary but the 68U always fails.

    Extend an aerial?

This isn't the one I have but find it highly unlikely the RSPB would sell a WiFi bird box if they weren't safe... RSPB WiFi camera nest box system - Garden bird nest boxes - save nature while you shop

    Extend an aerial?

I have an RT-68U as a slave in a mesh, for logistical reasons it sits in the corner of the house (brick built 1960s) and produces a great signal across the downstairs and most of the garden. Problem is I have a WiFI birdbox which is about 12' away exactly out of the corner of the house and the...

Release Asuswrt-Merlin 386.4 is now available

I tried reading 17 pages in scan read format but besides the usual cool Asuswrt stuff listed what does "Merges with GPL 386_45958" from the Asus side bring? I'm on 386.3_2 so is there an easy way of seeing what that's equivalent to in Asus core firmware bringing it to 386_45958?

    Network drop..

Having just experienced this once again I quickly diagnosed it looks to be my TP-Link powerline AV adapters I use for the backhaul. It's been pretty much flawless for nearly 2 years. Power cycled both ends, found a slightly newer firmware and updated. Fingers crossed.

    Network drop..

I've done a factory reset of the node and re added to the AiMesh. See if it behaves better.

    Network drop..

Looking at the log it did it 03:48, 05:50, 06:56 & 14:03 on the 12th, 21:00 on the 10th, logs vanish prior to the 9thh. There doesn't appear to be anything in the logs prior to this happening. Any ideas, anyone?

    Network drop..

Not sure how best to describe this but I've recently moved my Home Automation to a different system and been more 'aware' of any network activity, devices not available, dropping off etc. Today at 4pm though my secondary node in an AiMesh seemed to drop off, I'm not sure why or how but the logs...

AiMesh remove binding of offline device

Couldn't find a sensible way to remove it, seems a bit of a short site in the implementation but bizarrely/luckily or maybe how it's supposed to work it randomly popped up in the list as offline and I quickly removed before it vanished again. Seems the AiMesh is laggy, slower than network map...
