    Thanks for the clarification. I've been digging around in nvram of a stock firmware router. It has productid=RT-N11P and odmpid=RT-N12E_B1, so I guess that pretty much answers my question.

    I've downloaded GPL archive v. 3.0.0.4.380.7378 of asuswrt from https://www.asus.com/Networking/RTN12E_B1/HelpDesk_Download/. It looks like RT-N12E_B1 isn't supported as target directly.
