Does enabling 'Guest Networks' cause any performance hits or issues?

Hey everyone, I was thinking of enabling the 'Guest Network' on my RT-AC68P. However, I wasn't sure if this would cause a performance hit on my non-guest network. It's just in my home, so not a lot of traffic. But I was thinking of also using the guest network to put IoT items, like my Ring...

Wired vs Wireless router for ACTUAL routing use...

Done! Thanks for your input. =) It makes sense and you are right, if I do find I need something else I can re-purpose it as a AP.

    Poll: Router + NAS Combos

Go with a RT-AC66U instead, as the AC bandwidth is the same between it and the 1900AC routers. With the cash saved, buy yourself a Synology NAS. You'll thank me later. :D

    RT-AC66U & EX6200...

Hey guys, I just bought a EX6200 to extend my signal outside of my house. I was wondering, is there any benefit in shutting off the 2.4 on the AC66U and using the EX6200 with FastLane, having the 5Ghz as the backhaul and any 2.4 device connecting here? I ask because I always found the 2.4...
