    Spectrum internet has been out, briefly 3x this week. Oh yeah, and they're working to keep the service going because of Corona. I just wish the BS I'm seeing about how "they're" doing in spite of the Corona meant they were giving me a 6-pack for everytime they mention the virus. Something to do.

    Sorry I didn't answer. Yes, cheap(we by the dozens) WiFi Routers on telephone poles. In rural climes on the last pole nearest the (your) house. Then charge on the utility bill. They'd need a very large password data base and security for it. But we need that anyway.

    You took the Network SIM from a phone and put it in a (appropriately configured) tablet? I didn't know that was do-able.

    I looked first thing but did not find anything like a service log. Spectrum signal has been up all week _but_ Email have been blocked temporarily twice and for both my Android service and Wifie's iPhone. Weird.

    I'd look at your NIC configuration. It could be set to (or capable of!) 1Gb only and that would certainly neck down the thru put.

    I did as you suggested and captured the settings to a text file. Question: are these the actual settings on my, desktop, end, the settings that Spectrum's (Roadrunner) is see to, or suggestions for the ideal email, incoming server and outgoing server, configuration that I _should_ be using?

    Spectrum is doing ... something. I'm up at 5:00 AM and it seems like every morning the internet is down, its been this way for several weeks now. And (this is very odd) I've got 4 email messages in my out box and when I do a manual "Send All" I get an error message. I still receive spam messages...
