would this work for isolating IoT devices on an access point or second router so that it would not see or connect to any device on my main router? and would this only work for devices that are wirelessly connected to the second router or owuld it work for wired devices too?

I have a ts-251+ and i think it has got some gremlins. i can now log into the web interface but i cannot update/install any apps from the app center and i cannot clikc on the settings gear icon on the top right when i try to allow install of files without digital signature... any suggestions
