well i finally fixed that
i had to install a dns server on a local machine
which translate the public ip of my server into the local ipaddress
i dont actually need the port
thanks
also a problem might be that from the outside i call the server like this http://xx.xx.xx.xx: port and then the router do the port forwarding to the local ip. if i use a dns server inside the lan... can convert the public ip xx.xx.xx.xx to local ip (always the same) and doesnt handle the port...
yes
because with my server you can open the garage door and watch surveillance camera... and my mother use it with her phone. managing bookmarks is too hard for her
and is it possible to do it with the vodafone station?
it looks like a command line set up.
i am really sorry but i didnt understand that option?
what you mean 2 bookmarks? do you mean just what i am doing now?
hi my question is quite easy but unfortunately i can't find a solution for that. I have a couple of server in my LAN and i port mapped the router (Vodafone Station) to access the servers from the outside... Now my problem is that when i am outside i can access the server through the ip address...
hello i just changed provider and installed this router
there are a couple of issues that i really can't fix and i hope some of you did it before so you can help me.
the router create as usual one WIFI connection and one ethernet LAN connection... both of them with the same DHCP server...
yeah.
but it's a really complicated procedure for Tp-link to Tp-link only
it goes through the MAC address
i m afraid config broken after i changed the TP-Link router to an AP
and now i don't even know how to access the AP... the default IP doesnt work even through direct cable... probably i...
AND the really bad new here is that i can't configure the Accesso Point while in Access Point mode
so i have no clue how to make the repeater working...
and that maybe brings me back to my first situation
OK NOW I GOT IT
just connected the second router to the first through the LAN port instead of WAN
and it's working perfectly
NOW
i only have one problem :)
i have connected a 3rd tp-link router to the second one as a repeater... and it worked quite good
now... after i changed the second router...
