Release Asuswrt-Merlin 386.7 is now available for all models

AX58U Anyone else notice AiProtection isn't logging malicious site blocks now? It was working in Beta 2, but now I'm not seeing anything logged in AiProtection. I tested that the feature is working, the blocked events show up in the system log, but not on the AiProtection tab.

Beta Asuswrt-Merlin 386.7 Beta is now available

No we don't have skype on any devices here, the only thing that would is my windows 11 pc and I uninstalled it at some point. You are definitely on to something though, my wife didn't work today so her iPhone never disconnected and sure enough no errors showing up in the router logs. The one...

Beta Asuswrt-Merlin 386.7 Beta is now available

Very interesting info, thank you. I settled in with 386.1_2 because it was rock solid with no issues on this router and that came out in February of last year. If I remember correctly I was having trouble with QOS and wifi on newer versions so I just went back and let it be with 386.1_2. I...

Beta Asuswrt-Merlin 386.7 Beta is now available

I'm getting these crashes on AX58U since alpha 1 and it hasn't gotten better through the betas. Nobody else has mentioned it, so I'm not sure if it's just my router or what. But I have done wps reset, factory reset in settings, and jfss format all with reentering settings again instead of...

RT-AX58U- 386.5_2 - Random disconnects both ethernet and wifi

I have a AX58U on 386.5_2 and don't have this issue at all. How about trying a hard factory reset.

Release Asuswrt-Merlin 386.1 is now available

It looks to me like the built in speedtest DISABLES QOS/bandwidth limiter and possibly even hardware acceleration while it runs the test then restarts all that afterwards. With AdaptiveQOS enabled and configured I can see my bandwidth limits enforced on and and ping times...

That firmware version is Asus official, not Merlin.

Beta Asuswrt-Merlin 386.1 Beta (stage 2) is now available

Beta 4 was just rock solid on my RT-AX58U, I'll admit I'm a little worried Beta 5 might introduce a new issue but everything seems good so far. Something I noticed upgrading to Beta 4 and now 5 is that the scheduled disk health scan in the External USB drive tab gets reset to disabled after...

Beta Asuswrt-Merlin 386.1 Beta (stage 2) is now available

It became apparent to me after this update, the built in speedtest is supposed to bypass QOS and bandwidth limits so you can get your baseline speeds anytime you want without having to disable anything first. Pretty useful tool actually. If true, Asus should state that in the description to...

Beta Asuswrt-Merlin 386.1 Beta (stage 2) is now available

RT-AX58U - Internet Speed tab is now available and classification chart graphics are visible. - AdaptiveQOS bandwidth setting actually works now for upload and download on website versions of and Bufferbloat gone. Speedtest from the GUI ignores these settings though...

Beta Asuswrt-Merlin 386.1 Beta is now available

Anyone trying AdaptiveQOS on RT-AX58U with beta2? It seems to be working for me now that it's sat for a day, but when I first turned it on, speeds were all over the place. AdaptiveQOS has never worked right on this router even with stock, so it's nice to see right now.

    CakeQOS CakeQOS-Merlin

No runner in /bin, but there is /bin/fcctl with this output if it helps. Flow Cache Control Utility: Proc FileSystem: /proc/fcache ::: Usage: :::::: Flow Cache SW System : fc status fc enable fc disable fc flush [ --hw ] - Flush...

Is the ookla speedtest going to be added to RT-AX58U gui?

Beta Asuswrt-Merlin 386.1 Beta is now available

I was verifying this just as the follow ups were posted. I'm using traditional QOS and can't get my AX58U to crash no matter how many different things I clicked. Sounds like the issue is confirmed, good job reporting this.

    [Thread-1] [ 386.1_Alpha Build(s) ] Testing available build(s)

Apparently you can't do dirty upgrades on this router with the alpha builds so far, you have to factory reset first then upgrade firmware.
